If you’ve clicked on this post, hopefully congratulations are in order! Planning a wedding is stressful enough. Add in the fact that we wanted to have our wedding on the East Coast (we live in San Francisco), throw the never ending pandemic in the mix, and that’s a recipe for some serious stress. We knew we didn’t want a blank canvas – shoutout to all those couples who can make their vision come to life with a blank slate! We wanted a venue that was a one stop shop – think: venue, catering, linens, alcohol, transportation, the works all from one vendor! Enter Cescaphe.
Not only do their venues have different aesthetics depending on what you are looking for, but they basically have full service wedding packages. They supplied the food, which included an extensive 90 minute cocktail hour, selection of 3 entrees, a day of coordinator, fully stocked bar, which included wine, beer, and spirits, linens, tables, chairs, and our wedding cake.

We selected their venue in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia and it provided the exact ambience we were looking for: historic, classic, and moody. We selected all the details, but one of the things we truly loved about this venue was that it was Cescaphe’s first location, Cescaphe Ballroom.
Listed below are my top seven reasons we chose Cescaphe Ballroom:
- Ability to host both the ceremony and reception onsite, while seamlessly “flipping” the space from ceremony to reception during cocktail hour
- A space large enough to accommodate our guest list, while having enough space for our guests to show off their dance moves
- Ease of transportation from Loews Hotel (where our room block was) to the venue
- Full service wedding package experience
- Easily accessible from the Philadelphia airport
- The Reputation of Cescaphe. We knew that they create incredible wedding experiences
- Valet parking onsite
If you’re planning a Philadelphia wedding, I highly recommended checking out Cescaphe and all of their amazing venues. Please keep in mind that all of these opinions are my own and are not affiliated with the vendor. I’m giving my opinion based on my own wedding experience! Happy planning!
xx
